SIM Grades

Plintron offers all form factors (2FF, 3FF, 4FF and MFF2) , in Standard grade, as well as in special high resilience grades like Automotive and Industrial SIMs.

Automotive and Industrial grade SIM cards are more robust - with increased corrosion-resistance, to withstand the extreme environmental conditions in demanding M2M applications. The increased reliability and life expectancy of these SIM Cards reduces the risk of potential failures, during operation – and the time and cost involved in replacement of the SIMs.

eUICC Support

All Plintron SIMs , across all grades and form factors (2FF, 3FF, 4FF and MFF2) are available with eUICC compatibility for easy provisioning and maintenance.

With eUICC support, management of SIM cards becomes easier compared to traditional SIM cards.

  • Device can come embedded with an eSIM at the factory – without the need to configure a profile on the SIM at the time of manufacture itself. The profile can be remotely provisioned on the SIM card at the time of deployment itself.
  • Provisioning of the SIM and changing Mobile Network Operators (MNO) can be managed Over-The-Air (OTA) itself. eUICC can host multiple MNO profiles and can be programmed to use a specific profile or change profile at any time without the need for physical replacement.
  • eUICC allows faster time-to-market and quicker and easier deployment of the device
